We think of people like Martin Luther King Jr or Abraham Lincoln when we hear the word “freedom”. As important as those people are in our country’s history-they are not the type of freedom we talked about tonight…

As Tim Collins spoke again tonight about “love”, he mentioned some very important points. let’s take a look at some of his main topics:
- “LOVE IS NOT A FEELING”
- “LOVE GOD=LOVING OTHERS!”
“i have great worth apart from my performance because Christ gave His life for me, and therefore imparted great value to me. I am deeply loved, fully pleasing, totally forgiven, accepted, and complete in Christ”
here’s the problem: even if we don’t want to admit it, we care what people think.

soul-the eternal part of us
mind-our thinking, our decisions.

that was the topic of Tim’s talk tonight. remember? you may not remember every single word that Tim spoke about tonight (SHAME ON YOU! ha just kidding) but if there’s anything that you can take out of what was spoken about tonight..just remember this one word: LOVE.

Here’s what’s on tap this week…
BIGwednesday
This month, our BIGwednesday will be at VALLEY FAIR MALL, we’ll be meeting inside the mall, outside the mens macys at 630pm (look for maddy) and parent pick up will be at 830pm. MALL HUNTs are always an awesome event where all of the students roam around the mall, in teams, looking for leaders in disguise! Either eat before you come, or bring some money for dinner at the food court.
